Roastery Assistant

Ritual Coffee Roasters is a wholesale specialty coffee roastery with an onsite brew bar and kitchen, based in Cheltenham. We're on the lookout for a Roastery Assistant to help with the smooth operations of the roastery.

An interest in coffee is a must, as well as a strong team ethic, although tasks will generally be independent. The role would be suited to a methodical worker who has good communication skills.

Day to day duties:

- Packing wholesale orders, ensuring partners are invoiced and shipments created.
- Packing online orders and subscriptions, fulfilling using Royal Mail and DPD online postage system.
- Ensuring retail shelves in the Brew Bar are well stocked with coffee at all times.
- Managing stock of boxes and packaging supplies.
- Receiving deliveries, including green coffee.
- Washing buckets for coffee storage.
- Ensuring roastery is clean and tidy.

As part of the role you will be involved with daily coffee cuppings for QC and new origin sourcing, and greater coffee training will be provided.

We're looking for someone to start immediately. This is a part-time position, with hours split over three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Hours can be flexible between 16 and 24 hours a week.)
