If you are passionate about science and engineering and you have an eye for detail and a desire to learn and grow then Sartorius is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Additive Manufacturing apprentice. The Technical Apprentice will be responsible for the successful completion of his/her apprenticeship in a fixed timeframe and to prepare for a future career in his/her field of expertise.

Position: Technician Apprenticeship

Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

Duration: 3 Years

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and efficiently utilise AM hardware and associated software.
- Introduce, increase and utilise the AM knowledge that you will gain to help sartorius develop within the field.
- Investigation into developments within the Additive Manufacturing technologies field.
- Take advantage of the development opportunities offered by AM around the Sartorius group.
- Industrialised design (and support) for Additively Manufactured parts from initial concept to release for production.
- Process development and qualification for parts entering in-house AM production.
- Support other teams around the group to implement and utilise AM technologies.
- Materials research for the characterisation and qualification of AM materials.
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Engage in problem-solving activities related to Additive Manufacturing.

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English, and a Science.
- Ability and willingness to travel to the GET (Gloucestershire Engineering Training) centre in Gloucester.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication abilities and a team player mindset.
- An interest in 3D printing.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
