Distribution Coordinator

Working Closely with the Distribution Manager, you will ensure effective daily planning of orders, advising on workload requirements, managing haulage providers and support purchasing with incoming deliveries.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced user of integrated ERP systems such as SAP and has worked within a similar role or transport planning.
**Tasks will include**:
- Work with internal operations, sales office, laboratories, planning and purchasing and third party haulage companies to generate a picking plan
- Liaising with haulier representatives and internal operations on vehicle loading sequences and timings
- Assist to ensure achievement of company OTIF performance
- Provide daily report on shortages and order failures
- Provide regular status review of achieved daily/weekly picking plan
- Regular reviews of works to ensure efficiences have been exploited, idea generation
- Create Goods in and out diaries
**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
