An exciting new vacancy has arisen for an NPD Technologist. Reporting into the NPD Manager you will support the progression of customer and strategic concepts through the NPD process in order to launch high quality, best in class innovative products for LUUK and our customers and in turn facilitate both sales and bottom-line profit growth.

**You will be great at**:

- Assisting the NPD Manager in the daily project management of strategic and customer led projects
- Continuously improving existing products to meet the needs of our customers, whilst ensuring products are safe, legal, meet quality standards, the LUUK Brand standards and are developed to budget
- Assisting the NPD Manager in the completion of product costing information for LUUK products
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of post launch review paperwork to assess the performance of new products

**You are**:

- A self-starter, with the drive and tenacity to keep pushing numerous projects through the business at all times
- A good listener who shares the ideas of others and builds upon these
- Able to travel regularly between our sites in Bedford, Milton Keynes and Bagshot
- Customer-focussed with the ability to inspire key stake holders to develop products we are proud of

**You have**:

- Education to degree level in Food Science or related Technology
- Good cross-functional working skills and ability to manage multiple projects to given timescales
- Understanding of project management skills and how to launch a project from concept through to launch, factoring in demanding profitability KPIs
- Keen Foodie, with good culinary knowledge
