**This is the job** Joining the AA as a Business Analyst, you will play a key role with the delivery of all projects within our Insurance business area. You will work either as the sole BA on a small change or within a team of BAs to support change delivery.
You'll be accountable for capturing, analysing and documenting business requirements, and responsible for ensuring that these requirements are delivered. Our BA will work closely with the IT Portfolio Manager and the business teams to understand currentand future business processes, products and operations, and to use this understanding to clearly articulate and document requirements to architecture, design and development teams across Insurance, Cars and Financial Services.

**What will I be doing?**:
- Elicit requirements using interviews, process reviews, shadowing, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, identify, and close gaps, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requestsfrom the underlying true needs
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver appropriate artefacts on standard templates, including but not limited to Functional Requirements Documents,Process Flows, User Stories, Use Cases, GUI, Screen, and Interface designs
- Act as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team
**What do I need?** Experienced Business Analyst? We'd love to hear from you if you are an experienced BA with a background within either Financial Services and/or the Insurance industry. Bringing together your expertise and skills working on a range of projects from smallchange through to large-scale implementations, you'll use your key understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaborate with senior stakeholders including Senior Leaders, Executives and Directors.
