**Are you a Messaging specialist looking for a new challenge?**

The Infrastructure Engineer role is a wide-ranging role that will support all infrastructure technologies. We work a 7.5-hour weekly shift rotation covering a 7:30am-6pm, Mon-Fri service. Role can be based in any location within commutable distance to Stevenage,Portsmouth, or Newport.
This role will have third line experience in Messaging services and Active Directory Management, with broader experience in Server, Storage & Backup, Database.
This role forms part of an Infrastructure team providing both BAU and Project support to our clients. Working in a SLA driven environment to deliver high levels of customer service to our client.

**What you will be doing**:

- Monitor and execute calls entering the Infrastructure Support queues in accordance with contractual SLAs
- Carry out Incident Management on assigned tickets
- Manage the support for all in scope Client Messaging services, including Office 365, on-premise Exchange 2010/2016. Including (but not limited to): mail routing issues, mail connectivity issues, mail security monitoring, mailbox sync issues etc
- Provide 2nd/3rd Line Support to the client on Infrastructure Incidents & Requests
- Execute tasks to support Maintenance and Lifecycle activities - including Patching of services
- Represent Sopra Steria in various Infrastructure projects with the client
- Document common process & practice, including process flow diagrams, process and procedures around identified Service -Improvements, maintaining
- Provide SME support to Problem Management and proactively work to identify and resolve problems
- Support and mentor new starters in Messaging services
- Make proactive suggestions for improvements to client services and propose how this can be delivered with the benefits realised

**What we require**:

- Exchange 2010/2016
- Enterprise Vault
- Postfix/Sendmail
- Forefront Identity Management (FIM)
- Microsoft Identity Management (MIM)
- Mail AV/SPAM - Trend IMSVA
- Trend Scan Mail
- Knowledge of VMWare and experience working in virtualised environments
- Proven experience with MS Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale
- Good understanding of procedures behind logon scripts
- Good understanding of Group Policy (AD)
- Willing to work out of hours and attend remote sites

- Cisco IronPorts
- Sophos Pure Message
- Experience of PowerShell Scripting
- ITIL Qualified
- Experience of working as a Supply partner to various clients
