We are seeking to appoint an experienced and effective Administrator to work with an interdisciplinary steering group to co-ordinate and support the delivery of the University's BUILT programme, emphasising seamless co-ordination, communication and integration of diverse activities.

Outstanding communication and organisational skills are essential for the role, alongside higher-level administrative experience (including accurate recording and monitoring, calendar management, reports). An understanding of employability and experience of stakeholder liaison would be advantageous. The post will report to the Employability Manager.

The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable for this post.

BUILT is an annual competition open to all Bangor University students where participants across all study disciplines and all academic years form teams of 5-10 to simulate a start-up company and to generate ideas and develop solutions for a specific community challenge. Alumni mentors support each team along the way to refine their ideas and solutions and potentially develop the product or service prototype.

The programme culminates in the teams presenting their ideas to an independent panel, who judge which team have developed the most innovative solution. The winning team receive funding and support to launch and implement their product or service, as well as ongoing mentorship and guidance from experts.

Main

**Responsibilities**:
Meeting Management:

- Organise, attend, and capture minutes of BUILT Steering Group meetings.- Track and ensure timely completion of action items post-meetings.Coordination and Administration:

- Schedule events, room bookings, and ensure smooth logístical arrangements.- Streamline contributions from employability teams, alumni, speakers, and student groups.- Handle communications, student enquiries, and other related communications.- Compile and manage participation data.- Assist students and alumni in setting up mentoring sessions.Stakeholder Communication:

- Act as a liaison between the BUILT Steering Group and external stakeholders.- Ensure timely distribution of necessary updates and information.Documentation Management:

- Maintain and organise digital and physical records related to BUILT activities, ensuring easy access and retrieval.Event Administration:

- Assist in the logístical aspects of BUILT-related events, coordinating with the necessary teams and stakeholders.Feedback Collection and Evaluation:

- Gather feedback from BUILT activities and events.- Present collected feedback to the Steering Group for evaluation and decision-making.Financial Administration:

- Track expenses and assist in the preparation of budget-related reports for Steering Group review.Training and Onboarding Support:

- Coordinate training sessions for BUILT members.- Assist in the onboarding process for new BUILT members.Reporting:

- Consolidate and present regular updates to the BUILT Steering Group, highlighting areas of attention and potential challenges.Marketing and Promotion
- Support marketing / promotional communications and activities.Other

**Responsibilities**:

Essential- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently, ensuring the timely delivery of results to a high standard.- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to provide high quality information and advice to internal and external partners.- Proficient in the use of scheduling tools, data management, and minute-taking.Desirable- A good understanding of the employability agenda within the HE sector.- Ability to work closely with a team while also managing tasks autonomously.- The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable for this post.- A good understanding of the importance of equality, diversity and inclusivity.- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively w
