**Salary: £75 to £85 per day**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**GSL Education** are currently working with a popular and successful school based in
**Leicester **who are seeking a
**Ofsted Good** rated school with an outstanding working environment.

**The school is also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.**

**Role**:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to learners with additional learning needs and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials in order to assist with the promotion. Reteaching and reinforcing concepts for struggling pupils, helping with classroom setup, supervising students etc.

**The person we are looking for will have**:

- experience that is appropriate to working with children in a learning environment
- Has experience working with children in Schools or other childcare provisions
- Will have worked with vulnerable individuals (children or adults)
- an awareness of children/young person’s development and learning
- excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with a range of staff, children, young people and their families and careers
- the ability to implement behaviour management strategies, in line with the school’s policy and procedures
