We are seeking a Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic and enthusiastic Obsessional Disorders Specialist service.

Experience within the mental health sector is essential.

The role involves assisting the Cognitive Bhevaioual Therapists in providing individual and group support work for patients within an inpatient setting.

Will also assist in gathering information for CPA's, interventions and support with administrative duties. Form part of multi-disciplinary team and will receive clinical supervision from a qualified Cognitive Behavioural therapist and work closely with our OCD specialist psychiatrist.

You will have good personal organisational skills and a commitment to ongoing learning.

Applicants will be required to:

- Engage patients on the unit in therapeutic and meaningful interventions
- Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards specifically regarding risk assessment.
- Demonstrate a robust ability to work in a high intensity/risk environment.
- Provide excellent oral and written communication and possess exceptional organisational skills.
- At times may be required to work flexible hours (occasional evenings if clinically needed).
- Attending CPA meetings
- Facilitating group activities and assisting with planning & organisation
- Use therapeutic approaches to encourage patient engagement and motivation
