Plant Manager

Our client is looking for a **Plant Manager** to oversee their well-established production facility based in **Newquay**. With over 100 years of experience, our client leads the way in Manufacturing and Engineering expertise, with a focus on an inclusive, progressive, and friendly workplace culture.

**Salary**: circa. £70,000 per annum

**Hours**: Full time, Monday to Friday

**To start**:March 2023
- Be responsible for the daily and strategic management and coordination of all plant operations, including production, engineering, logistics and quality control.
- Provide leadership to the facility, ensuring efficient communication between all departments
- Oversee all aspects of people management including culture, talent planning, staffing and scheduling, training, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies, procedures and legislation.
- Be responsible for environmental and waste control
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, commercial teams and external customers and suppliers.
- Spearhead continuous improvement plans, implement change management initiative and align the business to the company strategy.
- Previous experience in a similar role leading a large team, ideally in a FMCG environment
- Experience overseeing Engineering, Production and Logistics functions
- Experience in chemical processing and a history of product development
- Strong people management and customer focus skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Change management and execution experience
