Shutter Joiner

Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth wood
- Install windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for materials and equipment
- Ensure accuracy and quality of workmanship
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to fabricate and assemble wooden structures
- Experience working with various materials such as wood, roof, masonry, electrical, paint, and plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during construction projects
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting as required

Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

**Experience**:

- shutter joiners: 5 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
