We currently have 1 vacancy for you to join as a chef supervisor in the facilities and catering department at Castle Hill Hospital / Hull Royal Infirmary.
Pay and Hours:

- Monday - Friday from 6AM to 2PM / £11.71/h
Predicted length of term: on-going opportunity with no end date and permanent opportunities available.
The role involves:

- To assume supervisory responsibility in the provision of a comprehensive and cost-effective catering production service that meets the needs of staff, visitors and patients and fulfils the objectives of the Trust;
- Preparation, production and service of food items in a food safe environment;
- Working in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations, Codes of Practice for Caterers and all relevant Trust Policy documents;
- To allocate work and advise staff on lower grades;
- Liaising with various department.
You will:

- Possess Level 3 or 4 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent;
- Have City Guilds 706/1-2 or equivalent;
- Have experience of managing a team within a food sales/preparation business;
- Experience with ordering supplies and stock control;
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and problem solving;
- Experience with using IT systems such as Microsoft packages and EPOS;
- Have good oral and written communication skills / organisational skills;
- Be self-motivated with the ability to manage own and others workload.
