Qhse Specialist

STEM recruitment solutions have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to support their manufacturing client with the management and development of their site's health and safety.

The position will hold responsibility for Health and Safety, Waste Management, Quality and Environmental management across the site. You will drive a Health and Safety culture throughout the business, building relationships with your colleagues to raise awareness and support ownership by each individual. The role involves

Targeting areas for improvement and implementing processes to drive forward

Managing COSHH assessments

Investigating accidents finding root cause and rectifying for the future

Updating H&S procedures

In addition to Health and Safety you will support with Quality across the site, dealing with

Quality policies and procedures

Providing advice and training

Dealing with non conformities and closing cases off

Conducting investigations

Updating policies and procedures

This is a critical role within the business that would suit a H&S expert who ideally has experience of dealing with Quality issues as part of their role.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
