**About us**

We are Paul James - a luxury, Leicestershire-based knitwear manufacturer. We strive to deliver the purest knitwear experience, which is why we shun man-made fibres, instead using only 100% natural fibre yarns in the production of our knitwear.

We trawl the globe in search of the most prestigious spinners to ensure every piece of Paul James knitwear is crafted from the most luxurious materials. We travel to Italy for extra-fine merino wool - then to Peru for a chunkier version - India and Egypt for premium cotton, South America for ultra warm, soft Alpaca and the British Isles for its famed wool and lambswool.

We take these yarns and knit them into stylish, functional garments that are made to last.

**Operations, Customer Service, Pick and Pack Role**

This is a senior role which will require working within our pick and pack and customer service department. There is also a significant amount of overtime also available throughout the year.

Please note to qualify for this role you must be available to work 2-3 Saturdays per month between September to January. There is scope to grow within our business if you have a keen interest in sustainable fashion, building brands and entrepreneurship.

Paul James Knitwear Limited is a growing b2b and b2c business. The company manufactures, wholesales and retails clothing under its own labels online and to a broad range of white label and private label customers. The business operates from its factory in Leicester, UK as well as manufacturing apparel from its own factory in India.

This is a 360 role, you will be exposed to many activities and there are plenty of opportunities to grow within the business.

Current employees, after 12 months of experience in goods in, pick and pack, and customer service have attained enough product knowledge to be able to assist our senior team members with sales, business development, and developing our marketplace channels (Amazon etc).

**Core Activities - Start date to 12 months**
- Processing, picking and packing online orders and customer returns
- Warehouse - goods in and goods out procedures, topping up stock, warehouse housekeeping
- Stock management / Stock Counts
- Liaising with customers and customer service
- Customer returns and re-processing stock

**Mid-level Activities - 8 - 12 months onwards**
- Wholesale accounts - processing orders, raising invoices and dispatching goods
- Processing and reprocessing stock
- General Business Admin
- Assisting the directors with aspects of sales and order management
- Product catalogue management
- Sales and B2B Business Development

**Non Essential Skills But Desirable for role progression**
- Experience on Microsoft Excel - this will be tested at interview
- A desire to learn, to develop skills and to assist in the growth our business
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others where
- necessary;
- To demonstrate an ability to coach strong performance and to be coached

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

Pay dependant on experience: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
