Are you a wine whizz who loves to share their expertise? We're on the look out for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Junior Sommelier to join our award-winning team at Dormy House Hotel, one of the Cotswolds' most well known boutique luxury hotels. You'll have the opportunity to work within our beautiful 3 AA rosette restaurant The Back Garden, 4 AA rosette chef's tasting table "MO". As you do you'll work alongside and learn from some of the best in the business

Working alongside our Sommelier and the restaurant team, you will ensure our guests receive a thoughtful, tailored and expert service when it comes to all things wine. You'll help to educate your colleagues on the basics of wines, assist in wine stock management, help write wine descriptions and be involved in wine list curation. A part of your role will also be to work across our restaurants and bar to support the delivery of a luxurious food and drinks service.
- Confident and enthusiastic, with an approachable manner
- Experienced in luxury hotel and/or fine dining settings
- WSET Level 2 minimum
- Passionate about wine with a willingness to learn and progress their knowledge

The role is a 40 hour per week contract (working 8 hour evening shifts over 5 days per week (plus 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break). This will include weekends.

In return we offer a salary of £30,680 per year, plus service charge (around £2,500 per year). We would also be happy to support you to achieve WSET Level 3 while you work with us.
