**Commercial Gas Engineer - Permanent - Peterborough**

A well-established & family run building services contractor are looking for an experienced commercial gas engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity will be to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repairs to Commercial/ Domestic boilers and heating systems.

Commercial gas engineer responsibilities
- Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
- Produce clear and concise written reports in a timely manner.
- Identify any defects found and report to site representative and Line Manager.
- Providing a parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
- Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by helpdesk team.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and clients’ representatives.
- Complete Risk Assessments for each task and ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment.

Commercial gas engineer requirements
- Experienced on installation of gas services
- Experienced on fault finding on heating control circuits,
- Knowledge of lone working requirements
- Recognised GAS SAFE Commercial Qualifications
- Recognised GAS SAFE Domestic Qualifications,
- Recognised OFTEC Qualifications (desirable)
- Recognised mechanical qualifications (desirable)
- IPAF and PASMA qualifications (desirable)
- Knowledge of other HVAC building services an advantage.

Commercial gas engineer package
- Salary £37,000 - £40,000
- Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.
- 22 days paid holidays
- A company vehicle will be provided.
