Housekeeping Assistant

Dounemount Care Home are looking to recruit a Housekeeper to join our luxury, purpose-built care home. This will be temporary for 6 months initially but may be extended.

Based on the outskirts of MacDuff, our care home offers excellent standards of Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care

As Housekeeper, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, always ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Housekeeper Contract
- Pay Rate: £11.00
- Hours pw: 30
- Company pension
- 5.6 weeks annual leave
- Uniform provided
- Onsite parking

**Responsibilities**:

- Empty waste bins
- Vacuum throughout
- Shake out cushions
- Clean dining rooms/lounges/toilets
- Clean taps and sinks
- Clean soap dispenser outlets
- Clean toothbrush holders
- Spot clean all floorings
- Wash all bathroom/toilet/en-suite floors
- Polish all mirrors
- Clean all pipe work in toilets
- Dust handrails and radiators
- Move all mobile furniture (including beds and chairs) and vacuum and dust beneath/behind
- Wash out metal wastepaper bins
- Dust and polish furniture and windowsills
- Wash lino floors
- Shampoo carpets as requested by Home Manager
- Dust light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels when required
