**Injection Moulding Operator.**
Pertemps are currently looking for a Permanent Injection Moulding Operator to join their successful clients’ team based in Atcham, Shrewsbury. We are looking for somebody who can demonstrate great initiative who works well in a team and is comfortable offeringsuggestions to improve company processes.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Perform hands-on production and assembly functions including running machines and packing
- Ensure your designated machine is operated and runs in accordance with the required schedule
- Admin duties, reporting any discrepancies to the team leader
- Identify all boxes at machine with an in-process label and operator stamp
- Ensure daily visual stock take
- Report any non-conformities to the Production Supervisor or Team Leader
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance, including visual checks for faults and leaks, cleaning and inspection routine of the tool and the machine
- Ability to start and stop the machine if there are any quality issues affecting production
- Daily maintenance of the machine where necessary
- Support the team leader to ensure a high level of cleanliness
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Dispose of recyclable waste in a responsible manner and ensure correct waste stream is used
- Daily inspection of machinery
- Be physically fit as you will be on your feet all day (Essential)
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, especially agility with hands while performing duties (Essential)
- Ability to display a good standard of verbal and written English, along with numeracy (Essential)
- Good work ethic with a high degree of common sense (Essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Forklift licence

Hours 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 hours / 14:00-22:00 hours rotating shift. Salary: £23,500 per annum.
