This role is for our Aelia stores situated at Luton Airport; we are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic leader to join the team. Not only do you need a passion for retail, but you must also be able to deliver a great customer experience through being resourceful and responsive to the changing needs of the business and team members.

**Job Purpose**:Outstanding service is the heart of our business, our aim is for customers who enter our stores, be greeted by a friendly team of Sales Advisors, who can offer expert help and advice on a fabulous range of products across multiple product ranges. As a Supervisor your primary role will be to manage, lead and inspire your team to deliver high standards of customer service, product availability and excellent housekeeping standards. This role will focus specifically on our Alcohol, Tobacco, Confectionery and Gastronomy (ATCG) department; ensuring standards are maintained, issue get resolved and communicated as they arise issues, and leads the day-to-day operation of this department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To ensure the team are delivering customer service in line with OSCAR service standards.
- Ensure the customer experience within the ATCG department is delivered to a high standard.
- Manage a team of Replenishment Assistants to ensure the shop floor is well presented; through effective stock management; ordering, receiving deliveries, ticketing and managing replenishment.
- Support department stocktakes (every 6 months) and manage any actions.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure brand consultants are scheduled effectively and delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Ensure all teams (internal and external) are communicated to effectively, supporting them to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.
- To generate ideas for driving the business and the team forward.
- To develop a motivated and empowered team through a positive management style
- Support with staff recruitment, planning and training.
- Organise brand training sessions with our brand partners.
- To use relevant processes and policies to control the security of people, stock and cash.
- To ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and terminal safety responsibilities as defined in the induction and period training.
- The control of costs in accordance with agreed budgets.
- Adherence to cash and stock control policies, ensuring and assisting others to do the same.

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience at supervisory or managerial level in a retail (or similar).
- An understanding of budgets & targets and the ability to deliver and improve them.
- Excellent Communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Ability to work in a team or individually depending on the needs of the business.
- Be able to remain professional and courteous under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team working.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to quickly learn about systems, new products and procedures.

- Manage the team of Replenishment Assistants, ensuring they are motivated, engaged and always delivering excellent customer service.
- Coaching the team to deliver service in line with our internal OSCAR model.

**Stock Management**
- Ensuring the store is fully replenished.
- Goods receiving duties.
- Stocktaking and inventory compliance.
- Merchandising & pricing completed to standard.

**Housekeeping/Health & Safety**
- Keeping the store well presented at all time.
- Ensure the safe usage of all the cleaning materials.
- Ensuring store and stock rooms are kept tidy in line with H&S.

**Security**
- Ensuring security of stock on shop floor and compliance of till inventory.
- Responsible for the shop floor security when on shift.
- Awareness of potential security risks out with store and part of the wider airport.
