**Head of Learning and Development**

The Head of Learning and Development will support the Chief People Officer and Director of Talent with implementing the Talent strategy and agenda across our business with a particular focus on Learning and Development. You will also support the wider Talent and People functions, as well as manage the L&D team.

**How will you do it?**

Using your previous leadership experience in a Head of L&D role, you will provide day-to-day management, direction and coaching to our learning and training managers and the wider team. You will make sure to maximise the potential of the People team in order to support the wider business and their requirements, while making sure all activity correlates with the Business and People strategies for best results.

In addition to managing the L&D team, you will also provide excellent strategic and tactical support to the Director of Talent on all L&D matters, from transactional issues to people development and organisational design. You will also offer valuable insight through meaningful board packs that will help inform Executive decision making. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that all talent-related policies and practices comply with both internal and external regulatory requirements.

Excitingly, you will help shape and deliver our Talent frameworks with a firm focus on opportunity, attraction and retention. You will oversee L&D projects including acquisition activity and ensure that a robust 100-day plan is both fit for purpose and can be executed for learning transition. You will also lead and role model the multisite approach, using a new way of thinking for learning and development across the business.

**What you will have**
- Experience of leading a strong L&D team, contact centre, operational experience essential
- Comprehensive knowledge of working within a regulated environment
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience
- Learning design, digital and for face to face delivery
- Interpreting and analysing people-related data
- Strong people management
- ILM Coaching qualifications
