We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Commercial Executive to join our team. As a Junior Commercial Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial team by overseeing milestone completion dates, conducting data analysis on costs, assisting with cost forecasts, attending technical meetings, identifying budget variances, and ensuring compliance with provisions and revenue recognition. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas/engineering industry and develop essential skills in commercial management.

**Responsibilities**:
**Milestone Monitoring**:

- Track and monitor project milestone completion dates to ensure timely invoicing.
- Maintain accurate records of forecasted invoices, dates & values to assist with company cashflow.

**Data Analysis on Costs**:

- Analyse project costs to date, identifying trends, patterns, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing cost analysis findings.
- Work closely with the commercial team to provide insights into project financial performance.
- Monitor project budgets and highlight any variances between budgeted and actual costs.
- Identify reasons for overspends and work with the project team to challenge and rectify them.

**Technical Meeting Participation**:

- Attend technical meetings with project managers and others to provide commercial input and support.
- Liaise with project teams to understand project progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
- Communicate commercial implications and considerations to the project team, contributing to decision-making processes.

**Month End**:

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of provisions and revenue recognition.
- Identify costs to be recognised from open PO list and costs to be closed.
- Collate list of projected margins from Project managers.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial analysis.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge or interest in commercial management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.

Skills Required:

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner all information relevant to the customer.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a heavy workload.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
