Assembly Supervisor

Hendry Hydraulics Ltd are looking for a suitably experienced supervisor to control operations within our Cylinder Assembly and Testing Area.

**Duties to include but not limited to**:
Supervision of the activities of up to 14 fitters involved in the cleaning, and assembly of hydraulic cylinders to meet production requirements.

Recording work completion on company ERP system and updating manual records as required.

Ensuring consumable stock items and tooling are readily available.

Interacting with production management to maximise daily output and achieve priorities.

Ensuring work area is kept tidy, safe and as clean as practicable.

**Requirements**:
Previous supervisory experience is essential.

Engineering experience essential, preferably with knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, their component parts and engineering drawings.

Computer literate, previous use of ERP system preferable but training will be given.

Good communication skills as daily production meetings held.

40 Hrs per Week, Mon-Thu 0745 - 1645, Fri 0745 - 1350. Some possibility of night shift and weekend overtime when workload dictates.

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical engineering: 1 year (preferred)
