Housekeeper/cleaner

Tynrhyd Retreat offers four and five-star self-catering holiday accommodation just outside Devil’s Bridge, Ceredigion. A beautiful location set on a private estate of 13 acres of grounds consisting of the large barn and a farmhouse which can sleep from one to fifty guests.

Our housekeepers are really important to us Tynrhyd wouldn’t be what it is without our fantastic team We are looking to expand our team right now, are you the perfect person?

**Housekeeper Job Responsibilities**:

- Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
- Contributes to maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
- Reports necessary maintenance items to management.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
- Assists the team when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Performs additional duties as needed.

**Work Hours/Days**:
Typical working pattern, Mon & Fri 9am-5pm. Additional hours and days maybe required/available depending on demand. Please know we are 8 miles outside of Aberystwyth, so being able to drive and access to a car is essential.

**Competitive hourly rate with the option to of a zero hours contract or self-employed.**

**Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills**:

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Positive can-do attitude
- Highly responsible, trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

**Experience**:

- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus
