Nursery Cleaner

22 Street Lane Nursery is a state of the art, independent Nursery situated in Roundhay, North Leeds. We pride ourselves on offering the highest level of care and education to young children. With 5 spacious rooms, we cater for children from 3 months to 5 years.

Job Title: Cleaner

We are looking for a hardworking Nursery Cleaner to clean the nursery between the hours of 5.30-8.30pm four days per week, 5.30-9.30pm one evening per week (can be flexible). As the Nursery Cleaner, you will follow a cleaning rota ensuring that the nursery is cleaned to the highest standard ready for the children the following day. You’ll risk assess your surroundings and report any concerns to the Nursery Manager and be responsible for locking the building each evening.

Duties - Nursery Playrooms, Communal Area, Restrooms
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors and any other glass areas
- Follow established cleaning rotas and safety guidelines, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cleaning preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Good time management skills to complete tasks effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning products and COSHH
