Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland we are currently looking to recruit Complex Needs Practitioners (Level 2) for our Blackford services in Paisley, where we support individuals with a variety of different needs such as ongoing Mental Health issues, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Dementia.

You will be part of a committed team, supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities. All of the people supported need full support with all aspects of their life which includes either full support with personal care or prompting with personal care, support with cooking or prompting to cook meals, general household tasks, shopping and attending appointments. Some people have complex communication needs and we use different communication tools to meet the individuals' needs. Some of the individuals can get anxious and display challenging behaviour this always tends to be when the person is trying to communicate something.

No care experience is necessary for these positions, but we are also seeking people who have previously worked in this type of service and who are looking to develop their career with an organisation committed to achieving outcomes for the people we support and for our staff. People with skills in supporting those with autism and learning disabilities or knowledge of borderline personality disorders will find this a great service to be part of.
