Join us as an Employment Law and Policy Assistant
- You’ll support the business to deliver its strategic objectives by providing HR input into core governance and decision-making forums, along with providing consistent professional administrative support

**What you'll do**:
In this key role, you’ll be collaborating with HR executive offices to provide professional governance support to group committees and employee representative meetings, managing HR input and delivering timely briefings.

You’ll also be supporting the Employment Tribunal co-ordinator, managing employment tribunal claims, the advisory, conciliation and arbitration service, conciliation and settlement agreements, and data analysis for stakeholder learning and trend reporting.

Additionally, you’ll be:

- Monitoring and ensuring accurate, secure, and timely coordination and circulation of papers for supported boards and committees, while maintaining accurate and orderly storage and archive of electronic and paper documentation
- Working with personal assistants to allocate suitable diary time for committee paper review and assisting in managing their diary in line with board committee commitments
- Providing administrative support in relation to onboarding and processing of legal supplier invoices and relation to overall team operating rhythm and strategy documentation
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance committee and employee representative meeting outcomes, promoting a risk culture, and tracking and escalating agreed committee actions to relevant areas
- Participating in the delivery of training and guidance to the business with respect to governance requirements and meeting administration

**The skills you'll need**:
To excel in this role, you’ll need experience of providing secretarial services in banking or financial services with knowledge of secretarial and governance practices. You’ll also have experience in office administration and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Furthermore, you’ll need:

- The ability to manage highly confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
- The ability to maintain high quality standards and attention to detail while managing high volume processes
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, reacting quickly to changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
