Plumber/gasfitter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise in plumbing and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of water supply, drainage, and heating systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures using appropriate tools and equipment
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify and diagnose issues or malfunctions
- Perform necessary repairs or replacements of damaged or faulty components
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters or electricians to complete projects
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

**Skills**:

- Proficient in plumbing techniques such as soldering, welding, and brazing
- Ability to plumb fixtures, appliances, and equipment accurately
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical stamina to perform tasks requiring strength
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations for transporting materials and equipment
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- Familiarity with power tools used in plumbing installations and repairs
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and pliers
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring pipe lengths and calculating dimensions

Pay: £26,502.15-£35,729.63 per year

**Experience**:

- Plumbing: 5 years (preferred)
