**About the role**

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Tester to join our Guinness Team on a permanent contract. This is a full-time vacancy, working 35 hours per week based in Oldham - Bower House. We are currently operating hybrid working, which offersthe opportunity to work 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Specific days to be agreed during the on-boarding process.

The overall purpose of the role is to test newly developed Information Systems and developed changes to operational Information Systems supporting the Guinness Partnership

We want our senior testers to take a lead in defining our test strategies, test policies and our testing capabilities. You’ll be able to work with key stakeholders to ensure we’re reducing the risks associated with making changes to our systems in the mosteffective and efficient ways possible. You’ll be a strong advocate for improving the capabilities the team delivers within the organisation and be able to mentor others within the team.

**You’ll be able to demonstrate**:
**Essential**:

- Proven experience of testing Information Systems
- Experience of delivering Information Systems development projects
- Good oral and written communications
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of Social Housing and Social Care
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Knowledge of specific systems testing methodologies and strategies.
- Knowledge of systems development methodologies

**Essential qualifications**:

- ISTQB - ISEB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CFTL)

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Microsoft and/or Oracle Professional Certification
- Prince2 or equivalent
