I am currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to work for my global leading energy client. The company has a commitment to net zero by 2040 and this role play a key part in the attainment of this objective. The position directly reports to the motivatedHead of Accounting in a tenured finance team.
**About the job**:
- Prepare and present management reporting, forecasts, and plans to senior stakeholders
- Analysing key financials / value drivers and provide stakeholders with management information to aid commercial decisions
- Contribute to fixed assets and lease accounting for month-end reporting for business entities
- Advise on accounting treatment for fixed assets and leases.
- Manage the preparation of statutory accounts, liaising with the external auditors
- Provide robust financial controls and support
- Assist with the implementation and testing of the new accounting system.

- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified - working in practice or industry
