Are you a bit of a spreadsheet wizard that’s looking to start your career in Procurement within a dynamic and growing company?

Have strong administrative skills with an eye for detail and a knack for working with data?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a **Commercial Administration Assistant** to join a team based in Whiteley. This is a permanent full-time position fully based in the office for a long standing not-for-profit with a strong purpose and a vibrant culture.

The main purpose of this role is to enable products to be purchased, sold, and paid for. There is a opportunity for progression into a Buyer Assistant role for the right person

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Maintain all product data and ensure that it is accurate at all times and that set up deadlines are met
- Setting up the promotional offers and conduct testing to verify the offer functionality is correct
- Action updates from suppliers as required and advise of any sensitive changes
- Monitor and control stockholdings levels and availability in stores
- Responsible for managing, investigating, resolving and responding to queries raised by outlets

**About you**
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages, ideally utilisation databases
- Good level of administrative skills
- Intermediate level of Excel and good IT skills
- Great at communication, planning and organising with energetic self-starter attitude
- Knowledge of purchasing or commercial environment would be a bonus
