We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator.

Duties of the role include:

- Managing/maintaining all purchase orders/card payments for the logistics and sales office teams
- Managing/monitoring/communicating on near hits, MPAs, vehicle checks, and safety alerts
- Meeting agreed levels of customer service, investigating customer complaints promptly
- Representing both the logistics (sales) and Planning team in safety meetings
- Responding to customer enquiries in relation to PODs/general enquiries
- Responsible for 3rd party self-bill/own-fleet adjustments
- Managing/re-visiting SOPs, ensuring still fit for purpose
- Ensuring team/individual KPIs are met, including safety standards
- Proactively maintaining/controlling/influencing relationships with customers/colleagues/hauliers
- Supporting the efficient/effective deployment of transport resources, meeting the needs of the business, checking freight payable transactions for accuracy
- Managing personal processes assigned to individual, ensuring the whole team have basic knowledge to cover all tax

This position is a temporary contract of 12 months, working full time Monday to Friday 9-5/8:30-4:30, paying £12.56ph.
