We are part of one of the world's largest digital-first, end to end media agencies, and offer CRO & UX to some of the world's top companies. We are growing our CRO department and are looking for people with data analytics skills to gather insights for our clients.
Our clients include Specsavers, Dr Martens, Honda, Pets at Home, People’s Postcode Lottery, Jurys Inn and more.
You will be part of a close-knit team of specialists that work together to create customer-focused strategies to improve our clients’ website experiences
Your role will be to analyse our clients' website data, finding insights that can be used to improve website performance. A typical day will be varied and could be spent analysing A/B test performance, creating dashboards, or using best-in-market technology to visualise user journeys.
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for providing reporting and analysis on user behaviour and website performance for our clients
Use a range of data sources to understand our clients’ websites, how they perform and where there is opportunity for growth. These will include Google Analytics, Content Square and any client internal data sources.
Turn data into insights that can be used to drive our conversion optimisation programmes for clients
Monitor and analyse A/B test data and create conclusion reports that communicate the final outcomes, learnings and long-term impact of our experiments
Work alongside our Analytics and Development teams to ensure they are tracking data for our clients accurately and efficiently.
Work alongside our Strategy, UX Research and UX Design teams to develop ideas for optimising our clients’ online experiences, using Research and Data to inform your ideas.
Use your skills to determine focus points that the Research team can explore through qualitiative research, or to support their previous findings.
Analytics and Development teams to ensure they are tracking data for our clients accurately and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity to collaborate with other members of the team including other Web Analysts, Strategists, UX Researchers, Designers and Developers. Sharing ideas with other experts provides the best results and enables your professional development in a way not available anywhere else.
What you’ll bring
Ability to analyse data and find trends or insights that can be explained and shared with stakeholders
Experience with a web-focused data analytics tool such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare or an equivalent.
Attention to detail, ensuring work is accurate and well documented
Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team of strategists, designers, developers, researchers and web analysts
A good level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet software
Desire to continually learn and develop, either through guidance from the senior team, or making the most of the many training opportunities available at Dentsu
Nice to have
Knowledge of digital marketing, especially CRO, UX or e-commerce and experience of using data to support activity in these areas.
Experience of reporting website performance.
Knowledge of statistics (training can be provided meaning this is beneficial but not a necessity).
Ability to create visualisations of data.
Awareness of User Experience principles or CRO.

A warm and flexible working environment- Flexible working environment, including remote working across the UK and flexible working hours. This will continue after any restrictions are in place due to COVID-19. If you do prefer to work in a group office environment, we have offices in Manchester, London, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Stafford, which you can visit. You may be required to attend our Manchester office, where most of our team are based, however this will not be on a regular basis and is more likely to be for key team or client meetings.
