Huddersfield, United Kingdom Paradigm Creative Full time

**Job description**

We’re looking for a talented video content producer to join our team. This is a full time role, managing video, motion and graphic design productions from brief through to successful delivery.

We’re a busy team, working on a whole host of different types of content; delivering shoots, post-production editing, motion graphics, graphic design and creative, visual effects, live-stream and event videos. You’ll be able to demonstrate that you’ve got experience working across a broad range of projects.

You’ll be right in the centre of the action; liaising with clients from start to finish, contributing to creative solutions with the wider team, managing and co-ordinating our people to get content delivered on budget and on time. You’ll be a great communicator managing the client, talent and crew on set, on location and through post-production.

We need a great team player; able to manage and co-ordinate teams of varying sizes to make sure we keep putting out brilliant work. You’ll have the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and passionately so that everyone is aligned on each job - making sure everyone has a clear brief of what’s expected from them. You’ll need the ambition and drive to want to deliver the best project each and every time whilst helping us to grow.

We’re looking for someone who’s highly experienced and who’s as excited about coming up with a creative approach to a project, as they are about the clear and detailed plan for delivering it. You’ll be commercially aware; with the ability to build budgets for clients and then stick to them. You’ll have the ability to quickly break a project down into its constituent parts and know the people, skills and time that are needed at each stage.

A keen eye for detail is essential. You’ll be an expert in making sure all the bases are covered; that props, talent and locations are sourced and cleared, that music, voice artists and post-production are all aligned with a clear flight plan. And that edits and animations are quality controlled for quality and consistency.

Our week kicks off with everyone in the Huddersfield office on Mondays, setting the tone for collaboration. Throughout the week, we come together to innovate, problem-solve, and work cohesively as a team. We take a flexible approach to our work - working remotely when it suits our schedules and preferences; as long as everything gets done, deadlines are hit and everyone on the team can collaborate. There will be some travel and working away involved in the role, usually nationally, occasionally internationally.

**Key role requirements**:

- A high level of understanding of the production process; you’ll need to understand what goes into producing videos and motion graphics projects so you can communicate with clients, crew and the rest of the Paradigm team. You’ll need to be able to answer and work through questions and solutions.
- An inquisitive nature; you’ll be working in a fast paced space and you’ll need to keep abreast of developments in the field to integrate anything new into our productions.
- Maximising the use of our in-house team; we have a talented group of people at Paradigm, their skills and talents should be put to best use, co-ordinating with the rest of the work in Paradigm’s work stack.
- Being well connected; we’ve got an established list of freelance crew, but we always need good people, you’ll know who to call on at just the right time.
- Scoping projects; working with Paradigm’s account manager, managing director and clients to scope projects ensuring they’re designed and quoted properly from the ground up.
- An eye for detail; you’ll be responsible for pulling together shot lists and call sheets, making sure everyone is in the right place at the right time, collating video and design assets, and making sure everyone is on the same page, you’re going to need to stay organised.
- A head for numbers; you’ll be responsible for hitting key milestones in each production - keeping everything running on time, and managing each production’s budget to keep it on track.
- A friendly and personable nature; you’ll be dealing with clients on a daily basis, understanding their challenges and providing advice on the best solutions, you’ll need to be friendly and approachable.
- Flexibility; we work with a whole range of exciting clients, on all sorts of different types of projects, sometimes this will involve some unsociable hours, and some travel away from home.

**What you’ll get in return**:

- A competitive salary, dependent on experience and location; around £35k PA
- Some flexible working options
- 6.6 weeks holiday that includes all bank holidays, an extended Christmas Break each year and your birthday off.
- Auto-enrolment pension with 5% contribution following three-month probation period
- Health cash plan
