- Supporting with the safe arrival of children at the club, and safe delivery to parents/carers at the end of each day.
- Delivery and active engagement of safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities in a fun and caring environment.
- Setting up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment and tidying up at the end of the day.
- Keeping the environment healthy, safe and secure. Keeping children safe and minimizing risks in the play environment.
- Serving snacks/refreshments to the children, ensuring that hygiene, health and safety measures are met.
- Liaising with parents and involving them in their children’s experience.
- Working within agreed policies and procedures, being aware of staff responsibilities around Safeguarding of the children in schools’ care.
- Helping with administration where necessary.
- Facilitating excellent communication with all members of school and parents.
- Administering first aid as appropriate.
