**An excellent opportunity for an Experienced CNC Programmer Operator to join a well-established company based in Burton upon Trent.

**Positions: **1 x CNC Programmer / Operator (Full-Time)

**OR** 1 x CNC Programmer (Part-Time) & 1 x CNC Operator (Full-Time)**

**Location**: Lancaster Park, Burton upon Trent, DE13 9PD

**Job Type**: Permanent - 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday (Part-Time hours TBA)

**Salary**: Competitive

**Responsibilities

- To assist the planning and efficiency of the CNC Machines
- Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per our company procedure.
- Plan and specify tooling requirement for production, including fixture and cutting tool list.
- Ensure machining processes are optimised, particularly on large batches.
- Support and advise other employees when required, in machining and programming techniques.
- Assist sales with technical advice, simulations & recommendations.
- Working to established and developing company procedures in a continuously improving environment.

**Qualifications / Experience

- A high degree of experience and skill programming and setting CNC plant and creating part programs and methodology on current plant.- Current plant includes - Citizen L32 Sliding Head, ABX 80 Miyano Twin-Spindle/Multi Turret Lathe
- Current program software - FANUC 31iB (ABX) and Mitsubishi (L32)-
- An excellent communicator and team player
- Proven experience with Citizen machinery - fixed and sliding head
- Proven experience with CAD/CAM Software Fusion 360
- Used to working in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances.
- Able to use initiative in the task’s undertaken.
