**Job description**

We are seeking to recruit an Intergrated Management Systems (IMS) Compliance Officer. You will be based from our depot in Larkhall. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Ensuring IMS is updated to achieve compliance with all:
- ISO Accreditations. 9001/14001/45001/NHSS18
- Constructionline.
- Safe Contractor.
- CHAS Accreditation.
- SMAS Accreditation
- Living Wage Accreditation
- PCA Accreditation
- SEPA
- Update IMS to reflect actual working procedures.
- Update IMS to include references to all relevant legislation.
- Subcontractor and Supplier Audits and Assessment.
- Maintain, update, and communicate continually update all documentation relating to the IMS.
- Scheduling & conducting internal audits of the IMS.
- Site Audits required to ensure IMS procedures are correctly implemented.
- Maintenance and upgrade Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Audit Tracking.
- Work towards leading in external audits, when audited by ISO certification body, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate formal management review meetings.
- Supporting the management team with information for tenders or request for information.
- Site Audits.
- Issuing of Non-Conformances and Corrective Actions.
- Management of NC’s and CA’s to ensure they are actioned, logged and trends are analysed.
- Administration of Employee Engagement Survey and action plans.
- Collating Customer Satisfaction to demonstrate continual improvement.
- Arranging and administration of training and competency tracker.

The role requirements:

- Quality and Compliance background.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- National Highway Sector Scheme (NHSS) experience would be advantageous.
- Experience of implementing an IMS (Integrated Management System).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Publisher and Excel Essential.
- Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001/14001/45001 (Advantageous)
- Health and Safety qualifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH would also be advantageous

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in the regulatory environment.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits.
- Provide advice and guidance on compliance matters.
- Identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
- Conduct training sessions on compliance topics.
- Maintain records of compliance activities.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
