**JOB - Business Development Manager**
**LOCATION - Berkshire**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY - £45,000-£60,000 per annum**
My client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a **Business Development Manager**to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis.
**The Business Development Manager will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Experience in Engineering
- A passion for business development and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Sales and Business Management experience would be beneficial
- Interested in sustainability and passionate about working in the renewable energy sector
- Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate others
- Enthusiasm for the position
- Brilliant communication skills and organisational skills
- Be able to travel on occasion as required

**The Business Development Manager role will involve**:

- Working in the Engineering Team to manage sales and business development activities within the company
- Optimising product development to maintain the company’s excellent reputation
- Researching and developing sales opportunities
- Identifying and targeting new potential customers, executives, engineers and designers
- Liaising with clients and investors to create and build relationships, then managing accounts
- Representing the company at events and conferences
- Working in alignment with commercial, technical, research and marketing strategies
- Achieving revenue growth targets
- Day-to-day management and team engagement
- Driving for progression and growth of the business
