**Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm**

Morgan King Industrial are partnered with a well known home furnishings distribution company**. **Due to expansion they are looking to add a Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

**Shift pattern / Working hours / Pay**:

- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am - 16:00pm
- £10.00 per hour

**Job description - Warehouse Operative**:

- Picking orders in line with processes and order requirements
- Ensuring all products and packaging comply with quality control standards before being dispatched
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space - perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods,
- Continuously carrying out quality control checks throughout handling goods in, picking, packing and dispatching processes
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all time
- Attention to detail
- Able to follow any written or verbal instructions from the management team
- Good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse
- Previous warehouse experience and Knowledge on WMS systems
- Have excellent work ethics and attitude

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chesterfield, Derbyshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
