Factory Labourer

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Factory Labourer for our client based in Braintree, on a permanent basis.

Our client manufactures and supplies Cast Metal Products for the engineering and construction sectors.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Labouring - heavy lifting, manual loading and unloading, general labour, moving metal parts
- Operating cranes
- Assisting casting of metal
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
- Working to achieve production targets

**Experience, Education & Qualifications**:

- Hard working and self-motivated
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Strong team working and interpersonal skills
- Used to working in a heavy Industrial Engineering Environment
- Experience as a labourer
- Ideally have a counterbalance fork truck license
- Relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7am -3pm, and Friday 7am - 2pm with a 20 minute paid lunch break. Regular overtime is available.

In return our client offers a salary of between £10.52 - £11.22 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, with a review after probation. An attendance and production related bonus is also offered which brings the rate up to between £11.52 - £12.22.
