You'll be joining a highly skilled and motivated team which makes a real difference to the residents and communities of the borough and will be at the heart of developing a strong 'One Hounslow' brand and identity - a whole council, whole borough approach
- which galvanises communities, attracts people to the borough and makes us an influential voice for our residents.

At the forefront of interactions with our wholly owned companies, you will put in place effective commissioning arrangements, transparent governance and explore new opportunities whilst supporting councillors through a new Shareholder Committee to understandall aspects of the council's interest in its companies. Managing financial arrangements for the council's third-party interests and charities, you'll lead on putting in place and maintaining effective processes for managing the taxation arrangements of thecouncil.

CCAB or CIMA qualified, you will have strong financial experience in a large public service organisation including overseeing the preparation of budget monitoring, annual budgets, taxation arrangements and final accounts. With an understanding of complexgovernance and financial arrangements across different entities you'll be adept at providing financial, budget and accounting advice to financial and non-financial staff including compliance with financial regulations and audit recommendations.

Your understanding of local democracy underpins a high level of management credibility. Comfortable challenging the status quo you can create relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, collaborating and influencing to achieve positive outcomes.
