**Key Responsibilities**
- Accurate and timely processing of client payrolls, including RTI submissions and auto-enrolment
- Liaising with clients to gather payroll information, resolve queries, and provide advice on payroll-related matters
- Processing statutory payments, deductions, and year-end procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations
- Collaborating with colleagues to improve processes and deliver outstanding client service
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and changes in legislation

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a payroll role within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau
- Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes, including RTI and auto-enrolment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A recognised payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP) would be advantageous but not essential

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
