**£10.50-£11.50 per hour
- Contract to Perm role**

This is a temp role with an opportunity to get permanent based on your performance. The company has fast-expanding business that has double in headcount in the past 12 months due to unprecedented orders, resulting in a solid order book for the next 2- 3 years. **PCB Assembler may carry out tasks such as.**
- PCB Assembling & soldering
- Soldering to IPC-610A mainly on through-Hole and some SMT parts
- Assembling of mechanical sub-assemblies
- Ability to work to engineering drawings and instructions.
- Precision electro/mechanical assembly
- Involvement with conformal coating/spraying of PCBs (full training provided but experience beneficial)
- Involvement with stores cover (training provided but experience beneficial)

**Skills & experience**:

- Must have good soldering and wiring experience coupled with mechanical assembly experience.
- Experienced in the hand assembly of electronic PCB's including hand tools and automated cropping.
- Ability to install electrical and electronic parts and hardware using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Able to work to engineering assembly drawings and instructions.
- Use standard engineering tools such as drills, press, hacksaw, files, marking and measuring equipment, torque wrenches etc.
- Ideally looking for someone with good mechanical/electrical assembly methods and practices
- Previous knowledge of electronic components
- Contribute to lean manufacturing improvement activities when required.
