Barista / Coffeemaker

The salary will be based upon experience and ability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffee drinks.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Operate a cash register and handle money transactions accurately.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling.
- Understand menu items and be able to explain them to customers.
- Keep up with current promotions and new products.
- Assist in the management of the business.

At the Soreza Cafe, we take pride in serving the best coffee, made from the finest beans. We may be a small coffee shop, but we believe we serve the best coffee in Richmond.

We are an independent coffee company, and you will be making coffee on state-of-the-art equipment including a La marzocco espresso machine.

We have an opening for a confident, experienced, and enthusiastic Barista who can make a fantastic cup of coffee and provide excellent customer service.

You will report to the Food and Beverage Manager.
