Your Reward and Benefit Strategy will shape our offering to attract and retain talent, engage our 8,000 colleagues across England and Wales.

In this newly created role, you will work autonomously, reporting into the Chief People Officer, People Team and the wider Executive team to deliver compelling and cost-effective solutions to Elysium staff. You’ll have one direct report to support you.

**What you will be doing**:

- Designing and implementing a Reward and Benefits Strategy
- Regularly compare compensation and benefits package against industry standards and market trends to ensure Elysium remains competitive
- Responsible for supporting Chief People Officer with recommendations for approval at REMCO and other Executive Committees.
- Lead on both strategic change projects, alongside core operational activities, such as Pay Review, senior job evaluation and salary benchmarking.
- Continue to deliver compliant and market-aligned pensions provision
- Cyclical Reward processes delivered to time, quality and budget

**What you will have**:

- In depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience in a similar role leading a Reward Strategy and agenda within as multi-site business of similar scale to Elysium
- Experience shaping REMCO and Executive remuneration recommendations
- Experience of sharing external benchmarking and insights to shape People Plan priorities
- Experience leading a small team
- Strong ability to influence and communicate at Executive and Board level
- Analytical mind with the ability to interpret complex compensation data/trends and share insight to the wider business
- Ability to build a deep understanding of Operations business and reward and benefits needs of its employees
- High degree of confidentiality and integrity when dealing with sensitive compensation data
