We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Advisor to join our team and provide expert guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters. As the first point of contact for HR queries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective HR practices and fostering a positive working environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary HR contact, offering first-line support to heads of departments and managers.
- Provide best practice generalist support, advice, and guidance on HR policy and people issues.
- Deliver a first-class onboarding experience for new employees.
- Proactively work to minimise employee turnover by collaborating with teams and managers.
- Support the internal talent pipeline by implementing development and succession plans.
- Handle the initial stages of disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness cases, ensuring a consistent, fair, and firm approach.
- Collaborate with the central HR team to deliver HR strategy, support organisational change, and address learning and development needs.
- Assist managers with change management and the implementation of new business initiatives and projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of relevant HR information and coordinate with the HR team to provide effective HR services.
- Manage accurate and up-to-date rotas in collaboration with heads of departments, in line with payroll deadlines.
- Record and manage sickness and other absence data accurately and promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive records on the HR system, including recruitment notes, interviews, onboarding, induction, and training information.
- Utilise the HR system effectively, ensuring consistency with the HR Administrator.
- Measure and report performance against agreed People Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take appropriate action to improve results.
- Launch, communicate, and embed people initiatives, policies, and programs throughout the organisation.
- Foster effective communication to optimise performance and provide consistent service.
- Attend regular meetings with the HR Manager and the central HR support team.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers to encourage positive engagement with HR activities.
- Maintain clear communication channels with the central HR team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Familiarity with employment legislation and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in using HR software and systems.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
