**Position**:
**Role Summary**:

To assist the HSEQ Manager in complying with the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and all health, safety, environment and quality requirements and legislation. The HSEQ Coordinator is accountable to the HSEQ Manager and is based in the Head Office, Portland.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To assist with all matters related to HSEQ management.
- To maintain and improve the health and safety, environmental and quality management systems.
- To monitor and where necessary investigate all HSEQ events, incidents and accidents.
- Collate and report monthly KPI and statistics of Manor Marine to the HSEQ Manager.

**HSEQ**:

- Implement the Manor Marines Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that staff and contractors are familiar with the requirements of the Manor Marines Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Confirm that suitable procedures to secure safe places and safe systems of work for all employees, Contractor/ Sub-Contractors and any others who may be affected by the work are established.
- Ensure that Project Managers and the General Manager are ensuring works under their control are undertaken in a safe manner in alignment with the Manor Marines health and safety procedures.
- Drive forward the positive safety culture of Manor Marine and strive for continual improvement; and
- Identify gaps in coverage and update existing and/or initiate new policies & procedures as necessary.
- Assist with MRE HSEQ matters as requested by the HSEQ Manager.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**:

- Recognised qualification in health and safety management, preferably a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent experience.
- Recognised qualification in environmental management or equivalent experience. (preferred)
- Recognised qualification in quality management, or equivalent experience. (preferred)
- Three years-experience in working within the HSEQ industry, with the aim of helping organisations to achieve ISO standards. (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
- General computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Organisational skills - a high level of attention to detail and focus on accuracy is vital, as is the ability to plan and manage competing priorities to deliver and contribute to the improvement of systems, procedures and ways of working, and to “add value”.
- Self-led with an ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Problem solving skills - ability to think laterally to provide prompt, practical, cost-effective solutions to challenges and problems.
- Demonstrable experience of initiative, self-sufficiency, and motivation.
- Good all-round office and IT skills.
- Ability to engage and build effective relationships with internal and external resources.

**Other information**:
Negotiable salary with 25 days holiday + bank holidays a year, salary sacrifice pension, discount voucher scheme. Full time 37 ½ hr week. Full training & support will be provided where necessary and appropriate.

Must have the right to work in the UK.
