Do you have experience within Personal Home and Motor Insurance and hold the desire to progress into a Commercial role? If so, we have a brilliant new opportunity in the Cheshire area for an Account Handler to join the expanding SME team of an establishedindependent brokerage.

**THE ROLE**:
Joining the business as Account Handler, you will work closely with the Team Leader in providing a first class insurance broking service to a range of SME Commercial clients. The role will give you exposure to and allow you to develop your knowledge acrossan array of commercial products.

Our client is also extremely committed to the development of staff members, therefore extensive training will be provided and full support given in attaining your insurance qualifications.

Key responsibilities for the Account Handler role include, but are not limited to:

- Dealing with renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business enquiries for a range of commercial clients.
- Ensuring an outstanding level of service is provided at all times, responding promptly to queries and ensuring all communications are recorded accurately.
- Fact finding with clients regarding their insurance requirements and utilising the information gathered to make insurance recommendations.
- Additional general administrative tasks when required.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Insurance experience is essential, either in a Commercial or Personal Lines capacity.
- The ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills is a must, both in a verbal and written manner.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships and be able to question and listen effectively.
- Will need to be extremely organised, able to prioritise and manage your time.
