Sacco Mann are recruiting for a skilled and experienced NIHL (Noise-Induced Hearing Loss) Claims Handler to join our reputable firm of solicitors based in Leeds. As a disease claims handler, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of noise-induced hearing loss claims from inception to settlement, ensuring the provision of exceptional client service and achieving optimal outcomes for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of NIHL claims, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Case Management: Efficiently manage a caseload of litigated NIHL claims, ensuring compliance with internal and external service standards.
- Initial Assessment: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of new NIHL claims, reviewing medical records, witness statements, and other relevant documentation to evaluate the potential strength and viability of the case.
- Investigation and Evidence Gathering: Undertake thorough investigations to gather necessary evidence, including obtaining witness statements, instructing medical experts, and liaising with external agencies to support the claim.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research related to NIHL claims, keeping up to date with relevant case law and legislation to provide accurate advice and guidance to clients.
- Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with defendant representatives, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to achieve fair and optimal settlement outcomes for clients.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular and effective communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, explaining legal processes, and offering advice and guidance throughout the claims process.
- Documentation and Administration: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of case files, documentation, and relevant systems, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 years' experience handling industrial disease claims, it is essential that you have NIHL experience
