Location: Buckinghamshire office

Remuneration: £25,000 - £49,000

The role of the Estimator - Architectural Glazing Systems will involve:

- Estimator position producing estimates for a high end manufactured range of architectural glazing systems such as: facades, curtain walling, entrances, shop fronts, atria, balustrades & barriers, floors, roofs and lift shafts & enclosures
- Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
- Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
- Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
- Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
- Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
- Present prices to Estimating Manager or Managing Director
- Preparing handover documents from Estimating to the Contracts Department, once a project has been secured
- Attending at mid-bid & post tender meetings
- Attend site as and when required (sites are mainly in and around London)
- Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Architectural Glazing Systems experience with:

- Must have Estimating experience within the construction market sector
- Ideally will have experience within glazing, facades or fit-out market sector, however other backgrounds would be considered
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
