Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join their team They provide a high level or regional and national training and consultancy services, working hard to develop rewarding partnerships with all their clients, from their busyhead office in Plympton and training centres throughout the Southwest.
As the Finance Administrator, you will be experienced within the invoicing, purchase ledger and banking.
You will have a high attention to detail, be good with figures and be able to hit the ground running
Invoicing and Purchase Ledger:

- Generate invoices on their financial accounting systems and check all received invoices and reconcile with proof of delivery
- Input all relevant purchase information into Sage
- Ensure payments are made in a timely manner
- Check and process all expense claims and all company credit card expenses
- Check and reconcile any petty cash payments

Banking
- Ensure all payments are banked efficiently and allocate payments on their financial accounting system
- Allocate monies paid on Sage (direct debits, BACS, cheques etc.)
- Effect bank reconciliation

Other duties - sometimes a break from your desk
- Assist with arrangements for lunch, refreshments and clearing of training rooms for courses held at the head office
- Make effective use of computer systems (hardware and software) to perform administrative tasks
- Utilise their financial accounting systems
- Manage financial date and accounts

As the Finance Administrator you will have:

- Experience working in a similar role
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in MS Office - Word / Excel / Outlook / SharePoint / Teams / Planner
- Experience of using computerised accounting systems
- Aptitude and ability with other software systems and database management
- Excellent prioritisation skills to ensure all finance deadlines are met
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations / clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and maintain cooperative and supportive relationships and communication channels with members of other teams

Benefits?
- Salary of £23,000-£26,000 p/a
- Monday-Friday 9:00pm-5:15pm
